Shanghai China Tourist Information and Travel Guide
The Maglev high-speed train in Shanghai China was the first commercial magnetic levitation train to be put into production.
The train runs between Shanghai's Pudong International Airport and the Shanghai's Longyang metro station (located on the east side of the Huangpu River).
Many visitors to Shanghai China enjoy the thrill of travelling at speeds of up to 431 kilometres per hour. Please note, however, that at certain times of day, the Maglev train runs at a snail's pace of only 300 km/hour!
If you would like to experience the thrill of riding in a magnetically levitated, high-speed train, take a peak at our 1080p HD video: Shanghai Maglev Train Video.
